Some Memorable Moments

There are memorable moments in life; and in traveling, especially these moments are many and varied and as I reminisce, there actually are so many that I thought I would post some from time to time....
Drinking beer with Tuck Meng and Thuan Hee at night in Lijiang Old Town District in China. Lijiang is listed under the World Cultural Heritages and this attractive tourist destination in Yunnan Province, China is where the Naxi Group, one of the 55 minority ethnic people in China, have established their Dongba Culture.
Cycling alone in a busy street in Chiangmai or Chiengmai, the largest and most culturally significant city city that stands on the Ping River, a major tributary of the Chao Phraya River in northern Thailand.
Travelling and sleeping under the stars in a Felluca boat while travelling down the Nile River in Aswan, Egypt.
Watching Mona Lisa or La Gioconda in the Musée du Louvre in Paris, France. Mona Lisa is a 16th century portrait painted in oil by Leonardo da Vinci during the Italian Renaissance.
Trekking alone in King George V National Park. The park which encompasses three states in Malaysia, Pahang, Kelantan and Terengganu, has been established in Malaysia in 1938/1939 as the King George V National Park but had since independence been renamed Taman Negara which means National Park.
