En route Ubud, I remember stopping at a place that reminded me of Philippine's Tagaytay. The latter, a city some 50km away from Manila, is one of Philippines most popular tourist destinations. Tagaytay being in the highland, has a cool climate. It overlooks Taal Lake in Batangas. In Bali, at Kintamani where the weather is just as cool, one can also enjoy a picturesque view of a lake. Bali's Lake Batur like Tagaytay's Lake Taal has been formed by ancient volcanic eruptions. A still active volcano, Gunung Batur stands majestically there. Don't miss it even if you have been to the lake in the Philippines. You would not mind seeing a beautiful lake twice!
Won't you want to see this beautiful lake again and again?
