Perhaps, looking at dead fishes in Pura Ulun Danu Bratan is not a very good idea. If you have taken an hour ride from Ubud to this water temple on the shore of Lake Bratan in the mountains near Bedugu , you'd most probably expect more. Enjoy the beauty and the serenity of the place then - some people who have been to Pura Ulun Danu Bratan would probably advocate the early morning to experience the serenity and to avoid the crowd of tourists but then a surprise could always be lurking in the crowd. Lady Luck may smile on you and you may spot a smiling bridegroom and his pretty bride in the crowd. In Malaysia, there used to be a trend for young Chinese couples to go to the local parks like the picturesque Taiping Lake Gardens to have their snapshots taken on their wedding day. These days, some Chinese couples would have a photo session even before the wedding bells ring and they would even go overseas, to Korea or to Bali to have their snapshots taken. I wonder if the handsome couple we spotted at Pura Ulun Danu Bratan came from Malaysia...
