Busan Bout: A Place for a King

I remember visiting Taejongdae, the park named after  King Taejong Muyeo of the ancient Silla Kingdom. This is  a  place for nature lovers definitely. It's very green here where nature abounds and cool too during the ride up the tarred road and when we took a long walk on narrow paths under the shades of dense trees  to a lighthouse. It boasts of magnificent cliffs and that would please shutterbugs. I suppose there are people who jump to their death here too. There's the statue of a mother and child statue somewhere in Taejongdae and elsewhere in Korea which serve to  remind people who are contemplating suicides of their mothers.  In the past,  King Taejong Muyeo would come here just for archery.                4
