Visiting Vietnam: At Da Lat's Night Market

In Da Lat, we stayed in a hotel near the night market. That was in Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street. Like many night markets in South East Asia, Da Lat's teemed with people. There were lots of stalls here dealing with various items; handicrafts, textiles, traditional clothes, flowers, costume jewellery and food, of course; fruits, noodles and various traditional Vietnamese fare. In Solo, Indonesia, I remember eating by the roadside, sitting on a mat but here, my friends and I had freshly prepared soy milk sitting on little stools on steps that led from one street to another. A unique experience indeed!
