One thing I don't like about going out to sea is you'll get wet, salty and sticky after a dip in the sea; and in the the Gili Islands, we were snorkeling for so long that we didn't have time to wash up when we were ushered to our ferry for the return trip. Luckily, there was a room to shower at Teluk Nara Terminal. Nevermind if the door could not be locked properly and the water was warm and slow in coming. Our guide had after that, taken us to a very green and cool area run by a man who happened to work in Kuala Lumpur many years earlier. We had had some local durians there; not very good ones, small and not tasty, bad even; but that was made up by the scene we had, a a bird eye view of the of the tropical dense tropical forest in the distance...
