Art should be synonymous with Bali, the island of the Gods. In fact, Balinese art is said to be of Hindu-Javanese origin and has links with the famous Majapahit Kingdom. Classical Balinese art in the sixteenth century centers around the village of Kamasan, Klungkung in East Bali and had evolved through times. Today, besides Batuan, Mas, Celuk and Batubulan, Ubud has established a reputation as the center of Balinese art. If you are not visiting any museum in Ubud, perhaps it is still advisable to roam the town to gawk at some of the art pieces on sale in souvenir shops. It would not matter if your budget did not include buying a piece of the artwork. You could still bring something home. Bring along your camera and take a snapshot of whatever catches your eyes!
.Now, which of the following is not for sale?
