Beautiful Bali: Fishes on the Bank

Ulun Danu Temple Beratan, situated on the bank of Lake Beratan, is often described as a water temple. There are many water temples in Bali, but Ulun Danu Temple Beratan is not to be confused with the other major water temple, the Pura Ulun Danu Batur. A violent volcano eruption had destroyed Batur, the village where Pura Ulun Danu Batur was situated and except for the most important shrine dedicated to Dewi Danu, the water goddess, most parts of Pura Ulun Danu Batur were also destroyed. True tides caused by the gravitational forces of the sun and moon reportedly occur in the Great Lakes, which consist of Lake Superior, Michigan, Huron, Erie and Ontaria on the Canada-United States border. I don't know whether true tides occur in Lake Beratan but the water level in the lake definitely changes.Ulun Danu Temple Beratan probably looks like it is floating in the water when the water level is high enough and when the water level drops, you'd probably see fishes which were trapped on the bank of the lakes, dead...
