Just before taking a cab to Ayutthaya, Welcome made a brief stop at Chatuchak Weekend Market, Thailand's largest weekend market, and probably the world's, too; with its 15,000 stalls selling just about anything. A friend said you could buy cars there even; but I'm not sure for each time I were there, I'll just be be stuck around the area around the clock tower, a not so comfortable place really. In Chatuchak, it wasn't like you were walking in an air-conditioned shopping mall. It was all hot and dusty and when you were sweating like a leaking tap, you could not wait but get to your hotel as quickly as possible. We got to ours in Ayuthaya via the highway in the afternoon but not before we had lunch of Thailand's famous pineapple fried rice... 3
