Cameron Trip: Lavender Blues

Some colleagues suggested that we make a trip to Cameron Highlands again this year. - Again; because we had been there together at least twice and that was years back. Cameron Highlands, a popular tourist destination in Malaysia, had been named after William Cameron, the British explorer and geologist who had been commissioned by the British colonial government to map out the Pahang-Perak border area back in 1885. It had come a long way since then. Today, one doesn't have to get blue for not being able to go to Japan to view the  Hokkaido lavender. You can simply do that in Cameron Lavender, a show garden between Tringkap and Kuala Terla, about 4km north of Kea Farm in Brinchang which features lavender field as well as an assorment of other colourful flowers.  While there, I was also smitten by a pair of purple Teddy bears!
