Meet Malacca: Comb the Street

One of the pitfalls of travelling in a tropical country is it's rather hot and with a hot, blazing sun in the afternoon, you'd not just be sweating profusely but be blinded by the glaring sun. In Malacca, I had an umbrella in hand but maybe you'd just settle for a cap or just a pair of glasses. It was nice to roam the heart of Malacca; combing the area street by street by foot.  Malacca has come a long way since the 90s and some street had been turned into little gardens and given a bright coat of paint to attract tourists. The old buildings blend with the new and when you see the old Chinese temples, Hindu temples, churches and mosques which are all within walking distance, you may marvel  at the people from the past who were able to live together in harmony and respect their differences. Take a last look at the Malacca River and the surrounding tourist attractions before heading for home!
