That Da Lat is synonymous with flowers is not surprising. Being a city in the highlands, there are several places here for one to view flowers: Langbiang Flower Farm, Anh Quynh Orchid Farm
Lam Sinh Farm and of course the Da Lat Flower Gardens which house over 300 different kinds of native and exotic flowers; and which we visited.The best times to visit Da Lat Flower Gardens are said to be during winter and spring; not the time we visited I suppose, for I remember it to be rather hot and sunny then. Even then, there were lots to see for many of the flowers in this 7000 m² landscaped park blossom
all year round. I assume it can only be better during the Spring Flower Fair and the Winter Flower Festival which are held every 2 years and that the city is justified as the city of thousands flowers.
