There was just a group of young people when we were at Taman Wisata Pusuk Sembalun; not very crowded really. Except for a man on a bike selling drinks and snacks, there was nothing else; no stall selling souvenirs or things like that. When we left the park, we did not exactly leave the greenery behind; it was green all the way back and at a little hamlet where the sky and mountain were blue, we stopped to take some photos. Then, at a bigger town, we saw some locals peddling durians. I suppose they were not Durian Gundul, the Lombok durian found in thr forest reserve of Gunung Rinjani. Those, as the name implies, are without thorns. The one which we bought had thorns and they were very big; twice the size of the average durian back home. Sad to say though, they were not as aromatic and delicious.
