As we walked up a concrete stair to the entrance of Sook-jai Cave, I remember our tour guide telling a story about the cave; if I heard right; he told of a young couple whose parents did not approve of their relationship and they eloped and hid in the cave. It perhaps was a great hideaway; Sook-jai Cave is big, deep and dark and if one is traveling alone, one would not be able to visit it; especially without a proper guide. In our case, there were probably over thirty of us and we had a very good guide...
