Dream of Redlands: Leaving Dongchuan

Dongchuan Red Land is in the highlands; so, I suppose it is colder there than in Kunming; especially at night when the water from the tap could be icy cold. It also supposedly has stronger ultraviolet light and it's advisable to apply sunscreen to prevent skin damage; or so, I read. When we left Dongchuan, it was not yet noon. The returned journey seemed longer as we passed hamlets and towns for we stopped at morning markets to admire local wares. At one town, there obviously were many Muslims. It was around the time of the Mid Autumn Festival  and the Muslims there sold mooncakes among other things...
