In Mũi Né, atop Ong Hoang Hill stands ancient towers which were built during the late 8th century. It was hot and quiet when we visited Po Shanu Cham Towers; almost deserted; but probably the place would burst into live at certain times of the day. The towers are still used for worshipping and local fishermen reportedly come to pray for safe journeys before they head out to sea every morning. Then, each year; ethnic Cham community will gather here to celebrate various festivals such as Prayer for Rain, Rija Nuga, Damp Building Festival, and Abstinence Ceremony.
