Thanon Khon Dern which means Krabi Town Walking Street is the Thai name for Krabi Night Market. As its name implies, the night market is in town; right behind Vogue Department Store in downtown Krabi. The market was packed with people when we were there. It was rather hot and humid and we had a hard time looking for a table to have our dinner. Finding one, we had the next hard time next to decide on what to eat. There were just too many stalls there offering so many types of food and we were spoilt for choice. Said to have some 50 stalls offering food and other products including T-shirts, shoes and handicrafts which tourists could grab for souvenirs, we really did not waste too much time eating. The market which is only held on weekends from Friday to Sunday from 17:00 to 22:00 was started in 2013 to showcase South Thailand products and ranking eight place in Thailand's Top 10 market, there was not much time to lose but hit the street! I couldn't remember buying anything though...
