A dozen of kilometers away from Phatthalung in the district of Khao Chaison lies Tham Nam Yen. Lunch and a massage later, we were ushered to this gem of a place. The name Tham Nam Yen or Cold Water Cave probably gives away its nature. We were going to take a boat again; but this boating trip wouldn't be the same like the one the other day at Thale Noi; nor would it be the same as boating elsewhere in the open space like in the river as in Cambridge or in the sea. The boat was going to take us to Tham Nam Yen and into it! It seemed that there was an underground river here!
