The cluster of statues in the vicinity of the pagodas are each 7 metres tall, collectively called Three Buddha Postures. They may be a draw to visitors but by no means are they the best or biggest statues in Ta Cu Mountain. Tired you may be after all the walk; but reserve some energy to walk further up; be consoled that you would walk under the shades of trees and everything would be worth it finally when you come face to face with the 49 meter-long, seven meter-high white reclining Buddha; white not because of marble but of pigment for this reclining Buddha, reputed to be the biggest of its kind in Vietnam is made of cement.
