During the Covid-19 pandemic; when there was a total lockdown, people just stayed home and there was no travelling to talk of. One couldn't even visit the local lake gardens until movements were eased later; but then one could still not travel to other states without a valid reason. Despite the high number of cases, lockdown was lifted recently and people flocked to picnic and other interesting spots; a friend travelled every other single day and even crossed border to Penang. When travelling to Kuala Lumpur, one probably just take delight in viewing the high rise buildings from behind the car window...
