There was a time when I would spent the fourth day of Chinese New Year exploring Sunway Pyramid, the shopping mall in Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya in Selangor. My nephew would go to his office then; and I who tagged along to Kuala Lumpur would drop off at the shopping mall to do some exploration. It was an interesting time to be there as the shopping mall would be gaily decorated for Chinese New Year. From a vintage point in the mall, I would also enjoy a lion dance performance at the entrance of Sunway Lagoon, an amusement park just next door. The pandemic put a stop to that.
