There was a Hop-On Hop-Off bus in Cambridge, a red, open-top double decker. The bus moves across the city, taking passengers to the top tourist attractions but my friends and I did not get to ride on one. With our kind hosts leading us, it sufficed to just roam the streets, jostled with the crowds and admire the architecture of the old buildings. With less than a day there, we rushed through many of the places, skipping museums especially. The sun blazing in the sky could be glaring sometimes but the weather was cool. Always have sunglasses ready, a hat too and plenty of moisturizer!
