The backpackers district in Ho Chi Minh bustled with activities even as night falls. After dinner, my friends and I wandered the the 3 main streets, Bui Vien, De Tham and Pham Ngu Lao, which made up the backpackers district. Souvenirs hunters would have a field day hunting souvenirs here, cheap little handicrafts that bring delights. Walking down the streets; at a point, l just couldn't help thinking that there was a thriving art scene in the city. A friend of ours who was a beer lover discovered that the beer there was dirt cheap and gave each of us a treat. All of us drank to that and to HoChi Minh which we would be leaving the next morning. Next stop, Dalat....
