Summer Holiday: The Little Bay

To the uninitiated like me, Oban is just a quaint little town in Scotland. But certainly, there's more than meet the eyes. Located on Scotland's west coast, this town in the Gaelic language means The Little Bay and it is a resort town as well as the seafood capital of Scotland. The bay is said to be a near perfect horseshoe, protected by the island of Kerrera and I could imagine it having fabulous seascape and sunsets and one could spend days exploring islands and the wilds. It seems that my friends just passed through the town, had some not very palatable ice cream at a shop there and then, made off to McCaig's Tower on Battery Hill ...
