After a Lombok seafood dinner, it was back to the hotel in Mataram and getting ready for home. While in Lombok, there were talks of going somewhere there to see the Komodo dragons but our guide told us we could do that only in another Indonesian island, Flores which requires a two-hour ferry journey. Besides komodo dragons, the island boasts of exotic diving sites, crater lakes which sparkles with different colours; blue, red, and green; and beaches which come in shades of black, white and pink. Of course, we don't have the luxury of time. It would just do for the moment to just build castles in the air and take a plane home in an approximately 2000 km journey for a plate of wanton noodles!
