Langkawi Trip: Goodbye, Langkawi!

As it was, we didn't get to see the sunset at Dataran Lang. We just had a good time there, enjoying each other's company and taking photographs. After dinner, it  was off to shop. Shopping isn't the same now; decades ago, there was no shopping malls to talk off. While visiting the Underwater World Langkawi, we strolled through Cenang Mall and Zon Shopping Paradise. After dinner it was off to Langkawi Fair Shopping Mall where some of us took delight in posing with some flashy cars and the next day, we made a brief stop at Perniagaan Haji Ismail Group Sdn. Bhd. Liquor, tobacco and perfumes are tax-free in Langkawi just like chocolates. We just picked up some foreign chocolates and cooking utensils like forks, spoons and ladle which could easily be carried. Our tour guide reminded us that local chocolates cost just the same as in the mainland but that wasn't really necessary for we weren't interested in them anyway. Thank you and goodbye Langkawi!
