In a trip to Phatthalung our van driver had suggested that we visited a hot spring but we declined, thinking that we need to spend a long time there and seeing no point in it. There is a hot spring fifteen kilometers from Phatthalung, the Khao Chaison Hot Spring. After leaving Nam Yen cave, we were huddled here where there were lots of monkeys and a big swimming pool where one could wade and dipped in. Some of us chose to explore the place while others chose to dip in the pool. I picked the latter. The water was warm and the company, good.
