The late Nat King Cole recorded over 100 songs that became hits on the pop charts. There was a story about him buying a house in the all-white Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles and becoming the target of Ku Klux Klan, the American white supremacist terrorist and hate group. The group had placed a burning cross on his front lawn, telling the American singer that they did not want any undesirables moving into the neighborhood to which he responded, Neither do I. And if I see anybody undesirable coming in here, I'll be the first to complain. Such a smart and brave man!; you'd feel safe travelling anywhere with him!
