Visiting Vietnam: Vietnam's Da Lat

Dalat, Malaysia, Da Lat, Vietnam; the former is a town and is hot and humid while the latter is a city and cool, too. Located 1,500 above sea level on the Langbian Plateau in the southern parts of the Central Highlands region, the capital of Lâm Đồng Province naturally has a cooler climate and has thus atttracted both local and foreign tourists. What's more is it is centered around a lake and golf course, and surrounded by hills, pine forests, lakes and waterfalls. My friends and I had made a stop at one of the popular waterfalls, the Datanla Falls which is fifteen minutes away from the town centre. It would be exaggerating to say that the Datanla Falls is spectacular, big and beautiful and all that; but yours truly really thinks it is just a normal waterfall which one probably would have seen somewhere back home. Just that, here at the falls, one can go canyoneering and to reach the falls itself, one can choose to walk on a narrow tarred road; or for some excitement, take a rollercoaster ride on a toboggan built for two. My friends and I opted for the latter.
