My friends and I spent two days in Portree, living and spending the nights somewhere in the outskirts, in the house of a former seafarer, a sailor who rents out rooms in his big comfortable house to travellers. I would like to imagine myself living in Southfork Ranch where the rich and powerful family, the Ewings of the old TV series Dallas live; but about the only similarity there must be just the white fence. Then of course, the house we stayed has a view. There is an extremely beautiful lake which I'd like to take home!
